Job Search

I am on the search for an entry level position in either marketing, communications or volunteer management. I am applying to a lot of places online and I have been getting a lot of calls... Unfortunately after being really excited to get an interview I do some more research on the company and realize it is either 1) a scam or 2) they really want me to sell door to door... Ummm, not to sound like an entitled brat... but I did not get a Masters to sell kitchen appliances door to door... no thanks. So now I am getting ready for the one interview I have with a legit company on Wednesday and I am faced with the issue everyone faces... What the heck am I going to wear!?!?

While I wish my closet looked like one out of an episode of Cribs... it's not. Suits are stupid... I wish we could all just be casual... if we all agreed it wouldn't be weird to show up to work in jeans yoga pants we would have a much happier work force.

If only...

New Obsession

Weddingbee  is my newest obsession! I love this site! You can ask questions about your dress or invitations or anything that goes with planning a wedding and you will get amazing advice and feedback. I posted a poll about our save the dates and had 20 responses in a matter of minutes. The help you receive just makes you want to help others with their questions!

Engagement Session!

After not being able to figure out what the heck we wanted to do with our save the dates, Matt and I finally decided that we should just do our engagement session and then use those.

We have no idea what we are going to wear or where they are going to be taken. We are both very un-photogenic and it could get ugly. Wish us luck!!

Doin' It

So wedding planning is coming along. Matt went away for a few days on a man trip to Montana and while he was gone I got shit done. I'm talking finding a dress, a DJ and a photographer. He should leave more often ;)

After his nice man trip Matt made it back just in time for the Super Bowl shindig I was hosting. As a California native I was rooting for the 49ers. It's too bad refs are too scared to make calls in the last two minutes...
